Since our inception in 2001, Rein In Sarcoma has had the opportunity to serve many individuals who, like you, have waged a personal war against this disease.

Researchers, Physicians and Dogs lead 2013 Mini-Medical School

Dr Amy Skubitz talks with students at the 2013 RIS Mini-Medical SchoolOn Saturday, March 2, Dean Katie Dusenbery convened the 4th Annual Rein in Sarcoma Mini-Medical School at the University of Minnesota. Thirty students joined researchers, physicians and Sarcoma Dogs to learn about many facets of the war on sarcoma. It was a fascinating, informative, and exciting day for all of the RIS Class of 2013.  Read more....

2013 Mud Dogs Raise $7,386 for RIS in Memory of Eric Skogman

Eric's Helmet Full of Love and SupportRIS’s thanks and congratulations go out to the 2013 Mud Dog Riders: Pat Bourgeois, Joel Mellenthin, Lynn Keillor, Justin Klett, Jeff Gruhlke, Dan Skallet and Jessie Steinwand for their overwhelmingly successful 235 mile snowmobile ride to Brainerd and the MnUSA Rendezvous in February. They collected from the snowmobiling community a record $7,386 to support RIS and preserve the memory of Eric Skogman.

One very touching moment was recorded by Joel Mellenthin and the Banquet at the MN Snowmobile 2013 Rendezvous.  Read More…

RIS Gathering Shares Laughter and Resilience
