Educating the Medical Community about Sarcomas

In April 2007 the KWRISF sponsored the first Grand Rounds on sarcoma at the University of Minnesota Medical School and at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Medical Center. The Grand Rounds Presentation was entitled, "Lumps and Bumps: Avoiding Pitfalls in Management".

Dr, Maren Eggert with Dr Ed Cheng at Veteran's Hospital Presentation It was presented by Dr Edward Y. Cheng M.D. Dr Cheng is an orthopedic surgeon, professor and the Mairs Family Chair in Musculoskeletal Oncology. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the KWRISF

Over 150 doctors at the University and the VA Medical Center attended the Ground Rounds.
